20 Grand Rounds are being held at hospitals and medical centers throughout the United States. These Grand Rounds provide emergency physicians, critical care nurses, hospitalists, general surgeons and oncologists with an interactive continuing medical education activity that raises awareness of known VTE risk factors, recent guidelines, the benefits and risks of current and emerging therapies, and long-term VTE risk management in patients transitioning to an outpatient setting. Support offered for faculty honoraria, travel expenses, and catering.
